Why we started this.

My husband and I are both college graduates. I have a BS in psychology, and my husband has a BS in International Marketing, a BS in Spanish, and a Master's in Business Administration. We are proud of our decision to further our lives with college degrees, however, there is a price for such accomplishments!

My husband is a hard worker and works for a company he loves! However, with the current economic climate we see in the US today companies just do not seem to be able to afford to pay salaries that cover the cost of living, let alone making payments on student loan debt. This is an interesting conundrum because in order to get jobs today college degrees are becoming a must! And so, we, like a large majority of persons out there have found ourselves in a position where it is difficult to make ends meet because we are spending so much of our hard earned income on student loan payments!

After struggling with making these payments we decided something has to be done to help us out of this situation. We went through forbearance and deferment years, but those do not last forever! So, one day we decided that we cannot be the only people in this situation and, that there has to be something we can do to not only help ourselves, but others too! So we dreamed up an organization designed just to do that!

We are just in the infancy stage of development and our biggest obstacle is to generate funds on little to no funds, but with the help of others I am sure we can develop a charitable organization that will not only free Americans from substantial student loan debt, but also help to refuel our drowning economy by helping to put money back in the hands of our biggest spenders, US!

Both Aqeel and I would be thrilled for any help we can receive! Once we generate enough funds we plan on becoming a non-profit organization! Please, help us along our way!
